From the NineCrafts Seller Rules, version October 22, 2026. Read the full rules for the complete terms.
Production and shipping
Maker shops may make or meaningfully customize products in their own home or shop using printers, embroidery machines, lasers, CNC equipment, 3D printers, and other tools. Making products to order is allowed.
Sellers may purchase blanks, raw materials, and components from outside suppliers.
All physical orders must ship to customers from within the United States. Digital downloads do not require shipping.
The actual customer shipment must originate from a disclosed U.S. fulfillment location. A U.S. shipping label, return address, mail-forwarding address, or tracking number does not satisfy this rule if the customer’s parcel actually originates overseas. Imported blanks, materials, and eligible supplies may be brought into U.S. inventory before domestic fulfillment.
State the real ship-from location and realistic production and handling times. Do not substitute an overseas fulfillment location after purchase. If you cannot meet the shipping rule, do not accept the order or seek to conceal the change. A mismatch between the actual ship-from address, the listing’s disclosed shipping origin, or the return address shown on the parcel or return instructions may be grounds for disciplinary action. NineCrafts will review the discrepancy and give the seller an opportunity to explain it and provide relevant fulfillment records. An unexplained or misleading mismatch, false origin information, or concealment of prohibited fulfillment may result in a warning, listing restriction, or suspension, depending on the evidence and seriousness. A documented legitimate difference is not automatically a violation. Any action must follow the written-reason, proportionate-enforcement, and human-appeal protections in these rules.
“Ships from the USA” does not mean “Made in the USA.” Origin, handmade, local, and domestic-content claims must be accurate and supported. This shipping requirement alone does not establish a seller’s citizenship, residence, or the product’s manufacturing origin.
Geographic scope: Eligible U.S. dispatch locations are the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa. Each physical customer shipment must originate in one of these locations. Routing an overseas customer parcel through a U.S. forwarding address does not satisfy the rule; lawful bulk imports stocked here before customer fulfillment may qualify.
Delivery is permitted within those locations and to APO, FPO, and DPO addresses where the carrier and law permit. Each seller identifies the destinations actually served and shipping charges before purchase. Overseas military destinations do not authorize overseas dispatch. Other international delivery destinations and local pickup are not offered under this version.
Digital checkout is limited to customers in the same U.S. geographic scope; military-address customers may use an eligible billing arrangement. These transaction limits do not impose a citizenship requirement on a seller. Every seller must be eligible for the payment service and legal verification required for their account.
Dispatch and delivery
Creating a shipping label does not count as physically shipping an order. Mark an order dispatched only after handing the parcel to the carrier or completing another expressly permitted delivery method. Keep reliable dispatch evidence. A missed carrier scan is not automatically evidence that you failed to ship; dated acceptance receipts and other relevant evidence can be reviewed.
Publish realistic production and dispatch dates before purchase. Made-to-order work does not have to imitate mass-retailer delivery speed, but sellers must honor the date they promise. Distinguish processing time, dispatch date, and estimated carrier delivery.
If you cannot ship on time, promptly tell the buyer, give a realistic revised date, and obtain any legally required consent to the delay or provide a prompt refund. Do not silently extend the deadline or mark an unshipped order complete. Applicable law controls cancellation and refund timing.
Use packaging and a carrier service appropriate to the goods, including required hazardous-material declarations and restrictions. Do not mislabel perfume, batteries, chemicals, or other regulated contents to obtain cheaper shipping.
A documented carrier delay, platform outage, or buyer-requested change must be distinguished from seller-caused late dispatch when reviewing performance. Notify affected buyers and cooperate with a carrier inquiry; do not guarantee a carrier outcome you cannot control.
